After 24 hours and a grueling battle with Toyota, the AF Corse Ferrari 499P hypercar driven by Alessandro Pier Guidi, James Calado, and Antonio Giovinazzi took home the win in the 24 Hours of Le Mans to much revelry and celebration from the onlooking crowd. The win marked the first since 1965 when the Ferrari 250 LM driver by future world champion Jochen Rindt, Masten Gregory and Ed Hugus took home the win. The sister Ferrari 499P took home fifth place after experiencing mechanical issues during the nighttime hours.
The 24-hour race was highlighted by a competitive first 12 hours, which saw the lead switch between four manufacturers, with Ferrari, Porsche, Toyota, and Cadillac all exchanging the lead at one point.
We at Boardwalk Ferrari congratulate AF Corse Ferrari for their hard work and determination in bringing home the win in the crown jewel of the endurance race at the 24 Hours of Le Mans.
