Our team at Boardwalk Ferrari has recently heard Ferrari is planning to expand its offering of electric and hybrid model vehicles. This electric extension will be housed in an extension to the Ferrari factory in Maranello, Italy. Along with the factory expansion, we’ve also heard there will be a new battery research and development center in Maranello as well.

From what we understand, the move toward electrification and hybrid technology is part of the focus on an ever-changing world, with the electric vehicle becoming more prominent in the automotive work. Further, we understand Ferrari will launch its first all-electric vehicle by 2025.

Ferrari is expected to lay out these plans in full in the coming weeks. We expect more announcements to be made at that time. Our team looks forward to seeing what the future holds for Ferrari in the future.
