Here at Boardwalk Ferrari, we always have our eyes and ears open for any news about an upcoming addition to the sports car brand's new model lineup.  We recently caught wind of a new model that could be unveiled at an upcoming motor show, and we certainly hope that this one is true.

Auto Express says that they believe that an all-new Ferrari 458 Scuderia will make its world premiere at the Frankfurt Motor Show later this year.  There's a lot about this speculation that may not be true, including the fact that it may not even be labeled a "Scuderia," but given the past vehicles that Ferrari has debuted at the auto exhibition, we don't think that this is a ridiculous idea at all.

Car and Driver had similar ideas about a 458 making an appearance at the German auto show back in May, and the experts over there thing that we can expect this new model to have approximately 600 horsepower and 9,300-rpm redline, which is 300 rpm more than what is standard.  Exotic compound materials used in construction should give it a dry weight under 2,900 pounds, and carbon-ceramic brakes and active aerodynamics should come together to provide an unforgettable driving experience.

As we said, this vehicle is merely a rumor for now, but that doesn't mean that we can't get excited about it here at our Dallas area Ferrari dealership.  We're sure it'll be packed with features that we can't even begin to imagine, though, and we certainly hope that it makes its appearance in the very near future.
