Our Ferrari fans in Plano who keep up with our Boardwalk Ferrari blog have most likely already heard that a new vehicle is in the works to replace our Ferrari Enzo. So far details have been few and far between, but recently we got a look at it testing in Europe.
So far, many rumors have been circling the internet and automotive publications. Here at Boardwalk Ferrari we have head the new Ferrari will be called anything from the F70, F150, and F150 Italia. While we don't know what the newest Ferrari model will be called, we can say that it looks incredibly sleek and aggressive.
From the teaser pictures released last year we can tell that the new Ferrari has not changed much in terms of overall shape. We also know that the designers at Ferrari want the vehicle to stay close to its 2,500-pound goal, so it's safe to assume that carbon fiber will play an integral role. In terms of powertrain and engine capabilities, nothing substantial has been confirmed or denied. But we are still expecting a V12 with a KERS hybrid system.
The front end of the Enzo successor looks to be heavily influenced by the Ferrari 458 Italia. Also the rear exhaust system looked like it was much closer to production. Ferrari officials still haven't released when the new model will be available. For now everyone will have to just wait and see.
