Scuderia Ferrari recently introduced us to the engine they have developed that will power their team in the Formula 1 circuit. The newly redesigned powerplant will meet the rule changes put in place for the 2014 season, and the Italian automaker showcased their new system in a recent video which we have here below:
This new 1.6-liter turbocharged engine will replace the 2.4-liter naturally aspirated V8 that was used last season. The video goes into great detail in regards to the overall changes, and we are looking forward to seeing how the new powerplant will perform on the track.
