If you're a dedicated follower of all things Ferrari, then there's a good chance you already know that the Ferrari 599 is on its way out. As sad as we might be to say good-bye to the flagship model, Boardwalk Ferrari is looking forward to the all-new F12 Berlinetta which will replace it. What's more, we're pleased to share that before the 599 takes its final bow, the Italian automaker is serving up one more act.
Adding on to an already stellar new Ferrari model, Romeo Ferraris is giving the Ferrari 599 GTO a small but exciting series of enhancements. While auto experts point out that the GTO is already "the ultimate incarnation of the Ferrari 599 leaving hardly any scope for improvement,"1 the Italian tuner has managed to come up with two significant upgrade kits.
Stage 1 of the Ferrari 599 GTO upgrade includes a fresh air filter and exhaust. Together these additions work to bolster the model's output by at least 15 ponies. Stage 2 then tacks on even more power with a remapped ECU and brings the vehicle's total performance up to an awe-inspiring 710 horsepower. In addition to these two main upgrades, the automaker will also offer a variety of carbon fiber parts including mirror caps, a new rear diffuser and a front spoiler.
At this point in time, officials have not yet released pricing for the enhanced Ferrari 599 GTO. However, you can always rely on Boardwalk Ferrari for the latest information as it comes.
